In these Terms, "Granton", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Granton Holdings Pty Ltd, ABN 28 670 242 065 (ACN 670 242 065), a registered Tax Agent (Tax Agent Number 2622689). "You" refers to the person or business accessing our website or services.

1. About Our Services

Granton helps Australian companies assess, prepare and lodge claims under the Research and Development Tax Incentive (R&DTI). Our website includes free tools such as an eligibility check and an indicative benefit calculator, and we provide consulting services to eligible clients under a separate engagement agreement.

2. Eligibility Tools & Indicative Estimates

Our eligibility check and benefit calculator are provided as a general guide only. Any result, estimate or figure they produce is indicative, is not financial, tax or legal advice and is not a guarantee that your company is eligible for the R&DTI or will receive any particular amount. Final eligibility and any benefit are determined by AusIndustry and the Australian Taxation Office based on your specific circumstances. You should not act on any indicative result without obtaining advice tailored to your situation.

3. Use of Our Services

You may use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to provide accurate information, and not to misuse, interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.

4. Communications, Call Recording, Transcription & Summaries

By providing your contact details or requesting an eligibility check, assessment or call, you consent to us contacting you by phone, email or message about our services.

When you speak with us by phone, your call may be recorded, transcribed and summarised (including with the help of automated and AI-based tools). We use these recordings, transcripts and summaries to:

maintain and review the quality of our service;

train and support our team;

keep an accurate record of what was discussed; and

better understand your circumstances so we can tailor our service to you and assist you toward a successful R&DTI outcome.

We keep this information secure and handle it in line with applicable Australian privacy laws. By continuing with a call, you consent to it being recorded, transcribed and summarised for these purposes. If you would prefer not to be recorded, just let us know at the start of the call.

5. Fees & Payments

Where you engage Granton for services, our fees are success-based and are set out in your engagement or service agreement. That agreement governs how and when fees are payable, along with any refund terms. You agree to provide accurate billing information when fees become payable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our websites and funnels (including text, graphics, logos, designs, tools and calculators) is owned by Granton or its licensors. You may not reproduce, resell or distribute our content without our written permission.

7. Privacy

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws. Information you provide, and information gathered during calls (see Section 4), is used to deliver and improve our services.

8. Disclaimers

Our services and tools are provided "as is". While we take care to be accurate, we do not warrant that any eligibility result, estimate or outcome will be achieved. Nothing on our website constitutes a guarantee of R&DTI eligibility or benefit.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Granton is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) our website, tools or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
